I even uninstalled Realtek's miracle and checked how the damn thing sounds when commanded by Windows drivers - didn't help much or I didn't know how to configure it properly. I did pin-point which frequency is causing most of the issue (500 range) and did my best to work around it. I have checked is the sub playing high freq. I did re-check and reinstall drivers twice. There is either little or no improvement at all, and I did everything in my power to make sure that it is not my fault.

Time passed, ASUS released a driver that apparently fixed everything and I have decided I will buy it again. After I've returned it I checked the ROG forums and I realized that there was plenty of people reporting and describing issues similar to mine. It would make a crackling (?) sound on low frequencies (I thought it to be around 200) on anything above like 30% of volume output.

The last 4 digits are enough to differentiate Realtek driver versions, like. Version numbers are easier to share than upload dates, since the upload date may change, and be different when placed by Asus into the G751 support areas.
